Man, I didn’t know so much people are looking for the new Avilon Zoo in Montalban. Well I’ve been getting quite a number of hits from search engines. Well I can say it’s really great zoo and worth your time. It’s still 70%-80% done and some new animals will be coming along this September like some hippos and elephants. And one great attraction there is the 5feet man-eating arjuanas(?), and there’s a bunch of them. The zoo is well organized, clean and the people there are helpful and accomodating.

Sorry I don’t exactly know the address. But here is what I remembered. We came from commonwealth and headed straight to the Montalban Market, go straight you’ll see a Mercury Drug and You’ll see as “Avilon Zoo” sign board, you won’t miss it. And from there, you won’t get lost. There are series of “Sign boards” along the way.

Or better yet, try posting here so I could give you the number of one of the contact there. Ok people.

I took a lot of photos in Avilon Zoo and have created a simple website to share some of them (www.geocities.com/avilon_zoo). Construction is still on-going, but site is already viewable. Yes, Avilon Zoo is great, really worth the trip. And yes, you won’t get lost, there are a lot of signboards soon as you “land” in Montalban. There are 3 routes to Montalban (now, Rodriguez, Rizal). One is via Marikina-from “Bayan” area go to JP Rizal Avenue straight to San Mateo, the next town is Montalban. Another is via Commonwealth going to Fairview-right turn to SandiganBayan, then along Batasan Pambansa gate, right turn to a road leading down to San Mateo. Third route is from Commonwealth Litex-pass Payatas, and about 15-20 minutes travel time, you make a right turn to Montalban Hway. Down the road, pass the bridge you see Mercury Drug and take a right turn. From there, you get to Avilon Zoo in less than 15 minutes. (Btw, I live in the area.)
Btw also, how do I get hits on my websites from the search engines and how do I know that my websites get hit by these search engines ? I submitted my sites last week but none are listed yet. Appreciate any help from you, thank !

You may call Tel number 945-5960 for information and look for Stephanie Joven. Ask for them to fax you a sketch going there. The sketch that will be faxed to you will be coming from Commonwealth circle.

The fee is Php180.00 which includes Entrance, Parking, Tour Guide & Tables and Chairs.

You may bring food or buy food from them.

1 year old and below is free.

Tours are at 8am, 9am, 11am, 1pm, 3pm.
If you want to join the tour, make sure to be there before 3pm, which is the last tour.

The zoo closes at 5pm.

No need to make reservations.

i was at avilon last weekend and i had a great fun! the place is promising and it will really be a good source of information and a nice place to relax. though the zoo is not yet completed, there already is a good collection of animals for display. moreover, the tourist guides are well versed and hospitable…

hi, i been with avilon zoo.. its so nice the place is nice and so clean..

alot of exciting animals that you should not miss.

afterwards of seeing the zoo, dont forget to eat at jollibee san mateo, nice and warm people you can find…

it was really great there!! it was like you are in an international zoo… i was really amazed w/ the new animals i saw.. they are all so unfamiliar, if 100% of animals are there maybe i am only familiar around 10%… my favorite was the white bear, but i did’nt got the name, the tag was’nt there anymore… i really want to take it home!!! awww!! u should visit it!!! ameour of CSA-BN

for those interested to go to Avilon Zoo at Montalban Rizal, unfortunately they dont have a website yet but i got lucky to have their number…all you have to do is call them and they will fax to you the sketch and all the info you need…#634-5550. hope this would help you guys…
