A fast paced weekend in bora

Boracay Beach Stretch

Beach Stretch of Boracay

Whew! Just got back from Boracay and what a weekend! Everything seemed so fast. It was like we just arrived there yesterday. It was my first time to go to that place actually but one of us, one of my regular travel companion from Lakbay, was here 10 years before and so much has changed according to her.

Well it was a fast paced weekend, but still we managed to squeeze in a bit of our personal time. Just to give you a short idea, we had some interviews, and a lot of photo assignements for me. Took some photos of the hotel we were staying, Escondido Hotel, quite new and the rooms are cozy. Then met with the restaurant owner of Paradiso Grill and Attica, Mr. Patrick Higgs. Big man, looks more like a wrestler with a perky attitude. They got one of the best Pizza I’ve tasted! Called Juliet, an experimental pizza with some mango strips and amazing crispy thin crust. Did some photoshoot of the place as well. I just wish I had tasted their lobsters. Then the night back to the hotel to eat some Crabs! Which is the hotel’s specialty. Took some night photos of the place then retired.

Beach Girl

One of the beach girls enjoying the waves. (as requested by Metal :P )

The next day, we met with Nenette Graf, the Windsurfing champion for the woman’s division. Cool gal! Went to the other side of the island where there are more wind for surfing called, Bulabog Beach. Took some photos of her in action kiteSurfing which is starting to become popular in Boracay. After the adrenalin rush exhibition we went to interview Gigi, regarding Boracay’s Real Estate. After which we ran a couple more errands on some establishments. Finally settling on a beach that night I took a nap on the sand while watching the sunset. Had a dinner buffet at Dalisay. Woah! I was so full! Then a quick trip to the Talipapa for a little shopping.

Sandcastle

Illuminated SandCastle

Whew! It was just this morning that we really had some time for ourselves! Finally took a dip at the crystal waters and just enjoy the place. Now I better get some sleep! Got a long week coming.
