A taste of Portuguese

Portuguese food at Portugalia, D’mall, Boracay
It’s always a treat to the palate to taste something new and delicious, especially dishes from other countries. Chef Antonio of Portugalia Reastaurant, managed to satisfy our taste buds with authentic Portuguese Food.

Seafood rice
Portuguese seems to adore rice as much as Filipinos. Their Seafood Rice is somewhat akin to our native Paella. A bit heavy on the stomach though but you could really taste the shrimps, squids and crabs in the somewhat sticky rice. It’s good.

Sangria with Squid
Their shrimp is ok and nothing special. But their Sangria wine is something this resto should brag about.

Soft Red Beans, with tender meat is the highlight of Ishwada.
And lastly my favourite among the dishes served is the Ishwada. Kind of wierd looking at first with a big chunk of meat with bones swimming in a sea of red beans with slices of salami. But once you’ve tasted it, the red beans are so soft they melt in your mouth and the meat so tender and tasty.
