InFlight 10th and Everest summits

Asian Spirit Inflight 10th

Asian Spirit Inflight 10th Edition

Oh yeah! Asian Spirit’s Inflight Mag 10th Edition is out now, fresh off the printers. If you plan on flying the airline anytime soon, don’t forget to pick up the copy. Just search through the front pocket seats or ask from the attendant. Demand your free copy. You could also read it at Starbucks if you’re a coffee person and on some travel agencies and ticketing stations. This issue’s main feature is Asian Spirit’s first international destination, Palau and of course the overly-rated beach, Boracay, and some other 10th Anniversary Party pics.

Well honestly, this is the most staggered issue we had, probably because the production was stretched out too long that I no longer want to see it again. Still, much labor was done here, lots of overnight stays and I experimented a lot on the layout for the “Boracay Bound” article. So if you do get a copy, drop me a line on what you think.

Wow, I should charge extra for this web promotion.

On a lighter news, congratulations to Leo Oracion and Pastor Emata for conquering the summit of Mt. Everest. I heard, Romi Garduce will be summiting within a couple of days if the weather permits. As for Dale Abenojas, the dubious dark horse climber from the north side who claimed he has been at the summit since last Monday, we are still waiting for confirmation. But overall, it’s a big year for Filipino Mountaineers as finally, we have a mark on the highest peak in the world.

I just hope that each of these climbers get their proper recognition as this is not all about being the first as this is not a race. If this was a race, they should have started on the same ground but they didn’t. Each of them has different goals in climbing Mt. Everest. So congratulations to all of them. They make it seem possible for us other Filipino Mountaineers to reach top as well. Now where to find some sposors….

“InFlight 10th and Everest summits”

  • well bro, the networks may deny it but it smelled and looked like a race to me. nevertheless, leo, erwin and romi all deserve our congratulations. sana naman, i-raise nila yung awareness sa responsible mountaineering kasi ang mga bundok naman natin ang napapabayaan at nasisira, kadalasan pa ng mga kapwa natin mountaineers na pasaway.

  • I demand that my free copy be delivered right here right now :p Penge :D

  • the layout design and photos look great:-)

  • so you’ve been to Palau?! Wow!!! Inggit!!!! :S

  • Layout looks great! Now I need to find a printed copy and see if the printer did an eaqually good job ! ;-)

  • very nice layout, i am impressed.

pinadala ka ba sa palau? saan yung palau?

  • @Lagal[og]: Yeah! I agree. They should take advantage of their popularity now by promoting nature awareness in Mountaineering.

@Ellen: I’ll give your copy soon!

    @OutdoorExposure: Thanks!

@Kate, Cruise: Nope, unfortunatley I didn’t get to be a part of the Palau party. Pero mukha rin namang Pinas daw with a few distinctions.

@Sidney: Hope you find a copy! So far I’m satisfied with our printer quality. :)

  • the name palau rings a bell, i’m just not sure whether it was from amazing race or survivor? hehehe! very catchy lay-outs by the way ;)

and yeah, it’s so sad na pati yung everest expedition eh pinulitika ng networks but let’s admit it, kelangan talaga sila as sponsors dahil malaking budget ang kelangan dito. i guess the more important thing here is nakaakyat at nakabalik nang safe yung tatlo.
