Sea, sand, steel and sky

Bangui Windmill, Ilocos Norte
I never get tired of seeing these northern steel structures at Bangui, Ilocos Norte. These windmills are well placed along the Pebble Beach, adding to the historic attractions of the North. Fortunately, on my second visit here, we were blessed with good weather, unlike my cloudy first visit.

Portrait amidst the Windmills
Taking advantage of the good lighting and weather my companions never wasted time to have their portraits taken amidst the Windmills, ala Regine Velasquez’s shot at that, WOW Philippines commercial.
So if you are planning to visit Ilocos Norte anytime soon, don’t forget to dop by Bangui, it’s halfway to Pagudpud from Burgos and around an hour from Laoag. Don’t be contented on viewing them from afar. Drive beside the Pebble Beach for an up close view.

The sight of those awesome windmills reminds me of a time long, long ago when, as a high school student, I walked those beaches. You’re about the first I saw on the Internet (I’m a newbie), aside from bangui.com, who has presented those windmills… Ah, do I wish I could go back there and see the view for myself… Mind if I ask where you’re from?
