Ironwulf.net Version 6: En Route

Cartwheel in Batanes

Cartwheels in Batanes

After a week long “Blog Leave”, I realized I could never leave the blog world that easily. I’ve been in the internet biz since 2000 after college (oh no, I’m showing my age) and have seen how the information technology changed throughout the years. I enjoy how the world has suddenly become so small, and each and everyone of us has that huge unique voice in the tiny world of a url we own. And so it goes, and the adventure continues…

Many thanks to all those people who left comments and even texted in those brief moments of self-doubt and gloom. Wow, that is so rare a moment. But thinking about it now it seems so trivial. Life’s too short so let’s just have fun as much as we can. Ironwulf.net version 6: En Route is about heading of somewhere, a destination or a goal. If Version 5: Around the bend is moving into uncertainty, En Route is knowing where you want to go and getting there. Do I make any sense? Hahaha.

Anyways, I hope you guys enjoy this new version. A little pressured on how I could top my last layout and hopefully this goes well. There are still some minor details that needs fixing in the coming days, so consider it a work in progress. It took me almost a week to put everything together, stretching out my CSS skills alongside with the new stuff on WordPress. Version 2.1 really rocks!

It’s nice to be back. Oh, and if you’re asking who that guy in the photo is, that’s me doing cartwheels in Sabtang Island in Batanes. I really had fun at that trip. Hoping to do more cartwheels on some other place in the future. :D And hoping you guys will be there in those journeys. So lets go!

  • [...] Continuing on, we finally found the white beach and the famous arc. Seeing the arc reminded my how artistic nature can be. This last day, we were really planning on doing things on our own. We planned to go our separate ways and just experience Batanes on our individual selves in Batan Island and by the end of the day swap stories of where we’ve been and what happened, but since we’re not in Basco, we just killed our time here doing our own thing. One sat by the rock and just watched the waves, one slept on a shade, one explored the stretch of the beach and I did some cartwheels. [...]
