mukhang late na ako mag post ^^, well all i have to say is Samsung specifically in the US of A now hold 50% or some big shares in the mp3 business line.... (panu kasi di pa mature market ng samsung d2) you know why???? samsung's audio quality and it patented DNSE audio system (superb sound quality also used in Samsung Tv's) pave the way for its success in the US market.
and do you that samsung is also responsible for the onboard chip and audio chip of ALL apple ipod's ^__^ i bet u guys dont know that! BTW i have ipod touch as far as i know Samsung YP - P2 is far more flexible/advance UI compare to i-pod touch. P2 sport blutooth which is also reponsible for its "text reader" capabilities and its so cold "phone to P2" connection where u get to control your phone away from you. well try to visit this url http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uk2-GKtn2b8 for more ipod and p2 comparison

Truly, (Apple) iPod already managed to dig into everyone's psyche. It's very stylish and very user friendly. (I'm a Mac fan myself and I've seen its pros and cons over PCs). One of iPod's weakness is it's audio quality, specifically their earphones. You have to buy one that'll snuggly fit your ears. Ironically, you see people who owns iPod and uses Sony or Creative earphones. When it comes to audio, Sony comes 2nd to Bose...I'm a fan of the Sony Walkman phones and that's another story...

i lost my nano ipod (8gig) recently so badtrip akong magtingin ng mga bagong mp3 lately. i've been using apple ever since, so siguro biased na din ako. but it helps to introduce new product lines such as this, we are creating a healthy competition, in the end, the consumers win.

natuwa ako sa last shot mo, background pa talaga yung book ni Murakami. ngapala, he will be coming out with a new book. short story compilation uli, ang malupet dyan, tipong bagong genre, ghost stories. hehe. ayos.

That's really a decent player. However, most of us in Malaysia either go for iPod, Creative or Sony. Usually people would die for Sony players.

I got to test that baby one day.

I agree with you Ferdz. For me, sound quality and usability are the priorities in picking the perfect mp3 player.

I have been using Apple Ipod for almost 3 years now and still have no plans of replacing it. Ipod and lately, my N95 phone are my constant trip companion when it comes to music.

But hey, if Samsung could beat that, then I am willing to try.

Samsung's equity in my mind has always been home theater appliances. It would thus take more than a product launch event to convince me to try it out over the iPOD.

Next question: why didn't they invite me? LOL!
