The Grand Buddha looks like the Buddha here in Cambodia - not like the fat laughing Buddha that we're familiar with in the Philippines.

That's a real adventure you're having Ferdz - just you and your friend in China and a photocopy of parts of Lonely Planet! :)

How was the food? I've always wanted to try real Chinese street food from China.

@ Eric: I observed there that despite communism, people are still free to practice the religion they chose

@ Lagal[og]: Thanks! Malapit na naman ang next international trip mo eh.

@ Sidney, Dong Ho: I bought 3 pairs of lock each and scattered them to each side of the stairs. Hahaha.

That Bodhisattva can cut down on manpower. Hehe

@ Photo Cache: Totally agree really enjoyed my trip there. Wish I coud have stayed longer

the locks of prayers is really interesting and the locks looks like it's been there for years now.

ferdz, i wonder what lock did you pick? (love, career or happiness) . hehehe...

i particularly like the stairs that leads to the grand buddha. maybe 3rounds of going up and down can help you loose weight.

Bodhisattva looks really cool. maybe he can work for a a big manufacturing company. thousand moves per minute.
