UPDATED:
Our Batanes ticket raffle got 396 comments posted before the 8 p.m. deadline last Sunday, April 20, 2008. Members of the SEAIR Adventure Club met Tuesday to draw the winning comment. To do this, each comment was numbered 001 to 396. The draw was done lotto style. Three piles of numbers were made, the first pile had the numbers 0 to 3, while the second and third pile had the numbers 0 to 9. And the winning number is 190 which is the comment of William Gilbert Agravante. Congratulations, you just won two round-trip SEAIR tickets to Batanes!
But since we enjoyed reading your comments, we’ve decided to give one round-trip ticket to the best comment with the word “SEAIR” in it. And that comment belongs to Dorcas Juliette Ramos. Congratulations on your graduation! You win one round-trip ticket to Batanes! To both our winners, please wait for the notification e-mail on how to claim your tickets. And to all those who joined, don’t fret since we have another one! So watch out for it.

It’s just my second day to visit your blogsite, Mr. Ironwulf and all I can say is I am mesmerized… The more that I am proud to be a Filipino with your magnificent shots of our native land… Who needs to go abroad when there’s more of the country to see…
So let’s explore more of the beautiful Philippines… And as the slogan says: “Huwag maging dayuhan sa sariling bayan…”
As for the free Batanes trip raffle, please count me in… It would be my dream destination since seeing the scenic Batanes landscape at the movie Hihintayin Kita Sa Langit, and now, in this wonderful blogsite…
Kudos, ironwulf… May your tribe increase!
from an admiring fan and soon to be a photography enthusiast

Batanes is among the islands in the country which is so very intriguing and a nice place for relaxation. God has a purpose why He created this island away from the nuisance of the fast pace and developed suburbs so that every man specifically Filipinos can recharge.
The reason I love to visit Batanes because it is a tempting island that other islands in the Philippines do not have, probably consider as the Atlantis of Philippines.
I consider myself an islander because I was born in the island of Siquijor which I believe it won’t be so hard for me to adjust but to embrace the island as it is with awe.

Sorry to start off all giddy about this.. But this opportunity is oh so very AMAZING!! My heart is all abuzz thumping with wild activity over the thought of actually going to Batanes for FREE! Almost three years in Manila now and the farthest I’ve ever been to up north is Baguio (I hail from Cagayan de Oro City).. I have always longed to one day be there at the pinnacle of the Philippines and look as far down south as possible. I believe in my heart that the closest i will ever get to be in a place as pristine and green as the picture of New Zealand on a can of Anchor Milk is the picturesque green hills of Batanes. I would love to, at least once in my young life, lodge in an Ivatan house, lie with cows on the Batanes Hills, gaze up at authentic hundreds of years old baroque churches (i LOVE old churches), and feast my eyes on the unending countryside panorama of beautiful Batanes. Batanes! Batanes! SEAIR please take me there!

I saw the rustic beauty of Batanes in a magazine while my familyand I were in Cebu. I loved the tranquility of the place. It’s very conducive to recall all the fond memories in my life. Guess what? I’ll be celebrating my 50th birthday on 28 of June 2008. It would really be wonderful if I win the trip. The beauty of Batanes shows us that God is magnificent. With Batanes, you’ll marvel at the wonders creaated by God. It’s a good place to talk to God.
