note to Lawtude: the name of this tranquil place is really BARACCUDA LAKE! just anFYI! it’s named as such because they say the lake was infested by barracudas a long time ago.

sa takot kong mahulog at malubog sa tubig ang camera ko, iniwan ko mga gamit ko sa bangka at nag-enjoy na lang sa paglangoy. ayun wala akong uwing mga kuha sa barracuda. but this is one of my favorite sights sa Coron. galing ng mga shots…parang postcards!

hey! when did you go here? we’re there 12-16th June. had a weekend dive. and oh yes! barracuda lake is gorgeous! pro sayang we’re not able to see the barracuda…but the reverse thermocline experience is something else

Haha. Yeah Oman, just the word barracuda can send shivers, but that's how the lake was named because of the small and thin resident barracudas there. Naku Og, I was actually fearful for my gears more when I was climbing the lime stones. Pinahawak ko na lang sa mga kasama ko and took it when I got up. Most of the sites there have entrance fees Dom. Personally I think it's ok since the money goes to the Tagbanuas who are taking care of this place. he water is brackish, a combination of salt and fresh water. Good thing you took a chance Liz, it has a nice scenery as well. Thank you very much for the complement. We do have lots to be proud of Photocache. Hehehe. Mapaglarong isip Ellen. Thanks Tina, nice to see you back here. Do visit again pag di ka busy. Inviting talaga yung place Eric, although kailangan din ng ingat since the rocks are tracherous and the lake deep.
