i’ll get back on this series if ever magpunta ako sa Vietnam. the places you’ve visited seems off-the beaten except for Halong. sana wala na maxado bikes jan kase takot tlga ako tumawid kaya d ko magawang i-backpack ang Vietnam eh. haha pero mukhang mahal ah and to think this post is back in 2008. hmmm..kelangan paghandaan!

when i checked the cebupacific website there are no flights to hanoi.

Sayang, hindi ko napuntahan yang Hanoi. Courtesy of Cebu Pacific ‘budget fares’ we have also been doing some explorations. Last Sept we were in Saigon but on a package tour. I enjoyed most the tour to the Mekong River and stopping by some islands. I noticed there are ‘nitso’ ‘puntod’ near their houses. We just join the groups so not much adventure for the unknown. I wish to see your photos in Siem Reap, Cambodia so i can see how the ruins should have been shot. Thanks.

yey, eto na pala yung ni-request ko dati. uy tuloy na Hanoi trip ko this third week of November pero may stopover pa sa BK. Sana mapuntahan ko yung Halong Bay. hehehe.

Hi Barok! Thanks for waiting. I hope this post would help you in your planning. hehehe. Onga Oggie, parang kelan lang. They USED to have direct flights to Hanoi Nina, now I heard they'll be stopping operations there starting December and would retain only Ho Chi Minh on their Vietnam destination.

Wait… Cebu Pac has direct flights to Hanoi? oh my oh my oh my. Hmmmmmmmmmmm. But 25K for Northern Vietnam? Eek! Have to re-calculate my budget then >_<
