Seair Inflight December 2008 – January 2009 is already out. Aside from the gorgeous and classy cover (shot by Daniel Soriano, Art Direction by Jocas See and creative concept by the Inflight Team) and the beautiful in-depth insider feature on their new destination Borongan in Samar, covered by my friend Lagal[og], yours truly was able to share a spread space in this awesome issue as the Seair Inflight Infocus Photographer.
Big, big thanks to Jocas, Mons, Giselle and Margie (who did the interview) of Seair Inflight for this feature. I’m very honored and very thankful for this exposure.
You can click on the image above for a larger view of the spread. Below is the write up from the page:
Ferdz’s Calamianes
Ferdinand Decena captured this view of Coron Bay and the Calamianes Islands while on a trek up Mt. Tapyas in Busuanga in June this year. He waited until sundown to get a perfect shot.
Ferdinand “Ferdz” Decena recently won first place in travel photography and people’s choice categories in TNT Magazine’s Travel Writing and Photography Awards, ceremonies held in London. His website, ironwulf.net: En Route also won the Philippine Blog Awards Best Travel Blog for 2008.
A Fine Arts graduate, Ferdz loves traveling, taking photos and writing about places he’s been to. He is currently working on his second exhibit featuring the heritage sites of Asia. – Margie Francisco
