There was a lone monk there about his middle age who struck a conversation with the questions “Hi! Where are you from?” I told him where I came from and he thought I was Thai. He said he was Thai and went to the Buddhist faith here in Laos.>>> it’s really nice to converse with people of different culture. you get to appreciate their culture and at the same time embrace more the culture that you’ve grown to.

the monk’s morning alms is really a sight to behold, i have to give it a second look upon reading oggie’s comment and yes, may doggie nga na nakikisabay. the temples look great, it seems that there are lots of temples there which are not far away from each other. i guess they really love to pray.

I think it’s okay na rin to give your alms. Tulong na rin sa kanila yun. Minsan lang talaga on trips, you just want to keep holding on to whatever little money you have But interesting yung ritual nila kaya okay na rin. Love the image on the morning alms, parang pati yung dog gustong humingi ng alms
