I thought it isn't so proper to snap the close-up photos of departed with their tombstones and publish them in the website.
Anyway, enjoy reading your posts.

nice shots :) Malacca is a nice place to visit. You can almost find something new to see everytime you go back there. There is so much to explore especially the lil alleyways.

I remembered walking down one and discovered one of the best restaurants I've ever been to. Too bad I don't know where they are now!

Many thanks Oman! Yep, dragons are prevalent eastern symbols kasi its part of their beliefs.

Thanks Sidney, those mini-tombs with images really caught my attention as well.

That is what also amazed me about this temple, even if it was the oldest it was well restored and preserved. Sana nga we can do the same here on some of our heritage sites Og.

I thought the image of the dearly departed is really moving. I also dig the elaborate details shot. One fascinating thing about traveling is finding differences and yet, similarities, in how we pray, pay respect to the dearly departed, among other practices. Nakaka-inggit lang din kasi they were able to restore the temples with precision and faithfulness to the old designs, something that's really lacking here.
