A Compendium
It’s been 3 years, 345 posts and 1428 comments later and here I am still blogging on. Starting on from MovableType to Blogger and eventually being at home here at my own domain using Wordpress. I must admit that this blog has changed from its humble beginnings of trying to voice out what insanely goes in my head to a now documentation type Travel and Photo Blog.
Many times during the last 3 blogging years, I contemplated in actually closing this blog. Hey the world wouldn’t end with this single URL vanishing into cyberspace. So why do I still blog? I wouldn’t dare answer that question as I think the answer is as many as the bloggers out there. Maybe I’ll just quote what a fellow blogger told me, as I like the simplicity of it all:
“Blogging makes you appreciate the little things in life, may it be a coffee or a scenery” - Cruise
And as somewhat a culmination, I invite everyone to view my Around the Bend Gallery. It has hundreds (probably more than a thousand, didn’t keep count) of photos I took since I started doing Travel Photography. And better yet, they are in 800 pixel maximum resolution so you could view more details as well. And better yet, there are lot of photos here I wasn’t able to post before. Please view them as it took me around 4 months of free time just to upload them all. Hahaha. Though this is still a work in progress as I originally wanted to have detailed information in each album, but it may take me another 4 months just to fill them in.
I originally wanted to use a 3rd party site like Flickr and others but I wanted to have more control (like the look and speedy upload) so I eventually used Gallery2 which can also be found in my web host at www.bigskymedia.net.
Anyways I hope you guys enjoy the Gallery. I still have a lot of places to explore in my list.

I scanned some of the pictures in your gallery… but my Internet is too slow. Someone should publish your pictures into a coffeetable book… that I’d buy.

tignan ko ang gallery mo bukas kapag may mahaba haba na akong oras …. congrats sa tatlong taon mo sa balat ng blogosphere ….. pareho naman pala tayong may humble beginning e … tuloy pa rin ang blogging at patuloy pa rin naming hindi pagsasawaan ang pagtunghay sa iyong mga larawan .,,, naks lalim ng tagalog ko ano …. kasi di ako nunong ng malalim na ingles e lol!!! kelan handaan sus 3 years walang handa?
