e waited for the sun to lower down a bit so we could swim. I was disappointed with the waters here. The wave was strong even if you go down under, the current will easily make you exhausted. Marine life and the corals weren't that impressive either. I was able to spot some fishes down under but not that many kind. After a few minutes I went back to shore and had some snacks with the guys. Then I decided to walk around the Island.
Sunset Among Rocks
I saw a bunch of foreigners swimming with their dog. They waved so I waved back, then moved on. Traversed through large rocks again to get on the other side. Saw some foot trails, must be the guys who has gone ahead of me. It felt peaceful walking in this side of the island. The waves were strong but the sound was soothing somehow. It was a rocky shore but nice and the stretch picturesque. I could see Eds ahead with his bright colored shirt. I came into a part of the beach where there was an unfinished structure. And behind it was a hill with an unusual rock formation. I decided to leave it for a while and decided to go around the island by moving forward, shortly I saw Eds turning back. When I was able to catch up with him, he said there were no longer a trail because the tide was already high. We decided to climb the hill where the strange rock formations were. Indeed it was stranger as if it was purposely placed there. It can make you think that it was a place of worship from an unknown cult. The low sun from the said hill was very picturesque. We saw Drew below walking ahead. We tried going up higher but ended up going down the other side of the Hill. The beach here was calmer and clearer, and the sunset was amazing.
I found myself tired, the whole day of travel may have taken toll already, and snorkeling in rough waters as well as hiking on the other side of the island was exhausting enough. I found myself drifting to sleep, sitting on the shore, waiting for Eds to finish taking pictures of the sunset. I closed my eyes and it was easier to just drift in the moment there. After a while, we went on our way where we saw our two guest JR and Hathim who was enthusiastically telling us how they found the trail and it was a long way back. They insisted that we move forward along the rocks as it was nearer, or so we thought.
