he tide was high, it was getting darker, and the next next part was one of the most exciting experience in the island, very memorable to JR and Hathim I guess. We navigateded through the rocks beside the cliffs along the shore. It was fun jumping along from rock to rock, walking along shallow waters. But more than a half hour had passed and there were no sight of our camp. It was getting darker and the waves getting stronger. I wasn't worried that much on the darkness as I have my headlamp along with me, but with the two who were behind us. What was challenging where we had to cross this big dome. There was also a time when I almost panicked, I went down the wrong way and found myself awashed by the waves. My headlamp was blinking madly as the water got into it. I found myself going back a bit. I asked Eds to check the upper rocks for trail. We no longer have the option to go back as it was getting really dark. I tried to dry out my batteries and put them in a few times to see if my headlamp still works. Fortunately it lit up and I was able to light the trail of the guys behind us while they negotiate with the rocks. Shortly a few minutes it was a relief to see the lights in our camp.
I was impressed that JR and Hathim managed to keep themselves calm throughout. I told JR that she could boast to her friends the ordeal she just went through going around the island.
Dinner was served a few hours after we had our not-so-perfect Rice, which we called "Hickory Wood Flavored". But it was satisfying and a lot. I was so tired that night I wasn't able to keep up with their socials.
