Egg Shells??!
woke up very early that morning around 4pm. I heard that Eds also woke up and immediately reached for his cell phone and texted away. I found that a bit irritating as you were out in nature and you spend your time outdoors texting back to the Urban life. I would have preferred to just turn of mine and not let any Urban distractions enjoy my time with nature. I decided to take my earth pad outside and found myself a nice slope along the sea shore.
I also took my cd man with me and popped in the best of "Enya" and just enjoyed the soundscapes along with setting. And what a grand time it was. Lying there alone, looking at the sky was quite an experience. For the first time I have seen a sea of clouds above me open up to show a bunch of stars hiding behind them. Then shortly along the horizon is a streak of light paving way to the morning sun. It was a grand experience.
Campsite
As soon as there was enough light, I decided to walk again on the other side of the island and try to find a trail on the cliff where there was a lone tree standing. There were numerous trail and it was also steep. I tried like 4 trails up but there were some that I didn't dare try as I don't have proper equipment with me, like a jungle bolo to make a trail. I only made up to 2/3 of the hill and no longer found an accessible trail to the peak. So I went back.
When I got back to the camp, most of them were just waking up. I told Drew that I could no longer find a trail up the lone tree on the cliff. After some snacks, I headed back to where we crossed last night along the rocks and found that it was easier to go by there now since the tide was low. Eds again was in front taking pictures. I found the landscape and the cliff formations amazing. I could only appreciate it now as I could see it clearly in the light. I tried taking pictures of some trapped fishes on shallow bedrock holes, amuse myself with starfishes and just enjoyed looking at the splashing waves.
