round 7:30 pm, we started our night trek back to the clearing. It was pitch black inside the forest and our only light source was our headlamps. My legs were already giving away but I had to move on. It was quite scary as one wrong step in the dark could make you fall off the cliff from the narrow trail. I was following the step of the one in front of me as I thought that my legs could give in anytime soon and my vision is starting to blur.
We stopped a few times when we found some streams as our water source. The water from the stream was quite cool and refreshing and relaxing at that. I thanked the water for giving me more energy.
We finally left the forest and found the clearing at almost nine and started pitching our tents as soon as we found an appropriate camp site. We didn't go to the campsite near the waterfall as all of us were quite tired and also, the thought that it might be crowded there doesn't make it appealing.
The night was wonderful and the air was quite cool. After a bit of socializing and a few drinks and snacks, we retired back to our tents. It was exciting to sleep inside a tent on the outdoors for the first time, but it wasn't really that easy, as the two guys with me were quite loud snorers that made me wake up a few times.
One time I woke up, it was so bright that I thought it was already morning. I looked out the thin fly-cast of the tent and saw the bright moon shimmering down the fields making it silvery and shimmering as the grass bends with the wind. A few moments later I went back to sleep it was only 3am. An hour later I woke up again and went outside. It wasn't that dark and the cold was tolerable. I looked around the surrounding landscapes and everything was gray. I stayed out for a while to enjoy the scene and after a few minutes, I went back to sleep.
