woke up around 5:00 am the next day. The landlady was in a nasty mood that morning. It turns out that the other occupants were using too much of their water for their constant bathing. I was just holding a half-full bottle of mineral water when she immediately told me that she cannot refill my water anymore when I haven't said anything yet about refilling. It was even funny when she told this other guest that asked to heat water that "that water will boil in 12 minutes" in a commanding tone. I guess I could understand her since water here in Sagada is scarce. I paid my dues and left thanking her.
The first jeep to Bontoc already left earlier. I waited until 6pm for the next jeep to deploy. Fortunately for the driver of the next jeep and everyone on board, agreed to head straight to Banaue. It was a relief because we didn't need to stop by Bontoc to catch another jeep. The driver started the gas. I popped in my CD player. I thought it was a great weekend. I have proven to myself that I can go places. Meet new people. And finally reach Sagada. But 3 days is not enough to stay here, there are lots more to explore. As we ride along the mountain edge that cold misty morning, specks of clouds travel along the mountain peaks captivates my eyes. I remember the song playing in my ears...
"Keep the dreaming alive
Don't be Afraid
I'm suffering my life Away
You know that's all I got to say"
"Are you really gonna make it happen
Seems a whisper's sometimes louder than a scream
Are you really gonna make it happen
Life is Free"
