Agkangayan sa Kanyo buo! Greetings of peace to everyone!
Gaya ng sinasabi ng mga magulang…”Anak, mag-aral ka’ng mabuti.. Iyan lang ang tangi kong maipamamana sa iyo… Edukasyon…ang iyong tanging yaman”
Marapat lamang na ang mga magulang ang magbigay ng mga pangangailangan ng anak at isa na rito ang edukasyon. Pero paano kung ang mga magulang na mangyan ay di kayang tustusan ang pagaaral ng kanilang mga anak dahil sapat lamang ito para sa pagkain?
Sa panahon ngayon ay ramdam ng mga katutubong Mangyan ang mga suliraning kanilang kinakaharap, kaya naman sila ay nakikipag-ugnayan sa mga asosasyon na maaaring makatulong para mabigyan ng maganda at sapat na edukasyon ang kanilang mga anak. Alam nila na kung walang edukasyon ay mananatili silang walang kalaban-laban sa mga pagsubok ng buhay. Nais nilang maranasan ng kanilang mga anak ang marahil hindi nila naranasan… ang makapag-aral. Nais rin nilang matuto ang kanilang mga anak ng sapat na karunungan na makakapaghubog ng kanilang pagkatao upang maging matatag sa pakikipagsapalaran sa buhay.
Muli, ang pamunuan ng ADTREK (ADventure TREKkers) Mountaineering Club ay kumakatok sa inyong mga puso. Ang bawat sentimo at mga gamit sa iskwela na inyong maibabahagi ay karagdagang kaalaman at pag-asa para sa mga kabataang mangyan.
Maaaring ang ilan sa mga kabataang ating matutulungan ay makapagbibigay daan sa mga proyektong makapagpapaunlad sa ating inang bayan kaya’t atin silang suportahan sa pag-abot ng kanilang mga pangarap.
“Magbigay kayo at iyon ay ibibigay sa inyo - hustong takal, siniksik, niliglig, at umaapaw, ang ilalagay nila sa inyong kandungan” Lukas 6:38.
Scope of the project:
1. Donations of school supplies for every student
2. Donations of school supplies, learning materials and books to the school
3. Repair of classrooms damaged by the previous typhoons that hit Mindoro
4. Educational film showing
5. Feeding program
6. Repair of their playground set (if the budget permits)

The Bible says; Whatever you did to the least of my Bretheren is you did to me….
Modesty aside, community services is one of my activities..as a concern citizen.
I was involved in Medical Crusade..offering free for the destitutes and those who are in the slum area.
And giving relief goods is also one of my advocacies too even while Im still in College….

This is very good undertaking and it is so sad that the government does not seem to take into serious consideration the plight of our katutubos. I bet Congress should look into this and legislate how we could help them.
