National Treasure: The new Indiana Jones?

I never knew before I saw this movie that this was a “Walt Disney” flick. Nothing bad about it, but from the start, it has “Family” posted with it. From the same makers who gave you “Pirates of the Carribean”, it’s another movie that involves, treasures, but set in modern times.
Growing up with Tales of Hidden Treasures which their family for years believed was hidden for no man is worth possesing. Benjamin Gates (Nicolas Cage), dedicated all his life in search of the Treasure which their Founding Fathers hid but left a series of clues to start with. One Clue led to another clue and it’s a race on who could find the Treasure first. Antagonist, Ian doesn’t make his life any easier. Soon the FBI is on their backs and tagging along for the romance angle is Abigail (Kruger, who starred as Helen of “Troy”) who is the keeper of the “Decleration of Independence”.
In the heart of it all, National Treasure is a fun movie to watch, especially for the family if they just want to have a nice element of action, comedy, mystery, history suspense and romance. The movie makes sure it keeps you up at your feet. But the movie really screams to be the next Indiana Jones movie genre at this time as it seems in the end. Does it match? Not really, but you can count on it for entertainment value.

I very much liked the movie. At first it was kinda slow-paced. And I know something better can be done with the intro, otherwise, it’s fairly good. ^__^
