THANK YOU! Merci! Maraming Salamat! Selamat! Muchos Gracias! How many words more can I express my gratitude to all the people who read this blog and inspired me to go on writing chronicles of my journeys? At the First Nuffnang Asia-Pacific Regional Blog Awards held recently on October 23, 2009 in Pan Pacific Grand Ballroom in Singapore, Ironwulf.net :En Route bagged the award as the Best Travel Blog in Asia-Pacific.

Ironwulf.net: En Route has been honored as one of the Top 5 Finalist for the First Ever Nuffnang’s Asia-Pacific Blog Awards. This is exciting Asia-wide regional event sponsored by Pringles and Uniquely Singapore and I’m just glad I made it to this round despite big numbers of great blogs out there in Asia. With this I give thanks to the person who nominated me, Thank You very much whoever you are. I was planning to nominate myself but someone beat me to it. And thank you to the judges who deemed this blog worthy to be a finalist.

I just got news that I’m included as the finalist for this year’s Philippine Web Awards under the Blogs Category. Honestly I didn’t expect it, anyways let’s see what happens. I’m just thankful for the judges for being one of the finalist.

Wow! It’s April already and I have a lot to be thankful for for the month that passed. First of all, I am very grateful for National Geographic Asia for being one of the winners in their National Geographic and Sony Ericsson’s Windows Into Asia Awards 2007. The contest aims to showcase the richness and vibrancy of Asia. I’m very happy about this since I’m a fan of National Geographic and it would be a dream come true if I’ll be able to work with them. And having one of my works being critiqued by Matthieu Paley, NGC Adventure Photographer and Quentin Tang, NGC Creative Director and finding it as one of the top 3 entries from the Philippines is already an achievement for me. Though I would really would love that trip to Mongolia, I’m still thankful since I’ll get a new bag and some goodies from them. You can check out the rest of the winners here from each country. They didn’t get my whole name right though. They forgot my surname! Oh well. Hehe.

Hahaha! I was just planning a new site design in my head when I got the word. Many thanks to the owner of Basang Panaginip for including this blog in his list of The Best Designed Filipino Blogs for 2006. The other blogs are just uber cool! Anyways, as I was saying, I’m planing out a new Blog design for this which I’m hoping to come out by next year. This template is already 2 years old, and I’m usually changing template yearly. I just hope I can come up with something new to get pass this.
