I haven’t read a single Hellblazer comics so I can say I won’t be biased on this review wether it would be faithful to the comicbook hero. But I may be biased with the concept of the movie regarding heaven and hell and the world we live in. I may not share the same opinion with most reviews (believe me a lot think that this is another disappointment comics-to-movies book), but there is something about the movie that I did enjoy.
And I thought Troy was bad already, I couldn’t believe it could get any worse. And it has “Oliver Stone” written all over it! Ok let me go straight to the point: It’s a bad movie.
I never knew before I saw this movie that this was a “Walt Disney” flick. Nothing bad about it, but from the start, it has “Family” posted with it. From the same makers who gave you “Pirates of the Carribean”, it’s another movie that involves, treasures, but set in modern times.
This is the first Nicholas Sparks movie I’ve seen. I failed to see his earlier works like “Message in a Bottle” and “A Walk to Remember”. Despite its screaming strategy of targeting romance fanatics, teeners and dating couples, The Notebook has so much so offer more than romance entertainment.
SO many superhero movies have passed some where hits (like spiderman) and some where misses. We had Spiderman, Catwoman, Hellboy, Daredevil and League of Extraordinary Gentlemen (did I miss something?). And upcoming are The Punisher and Contsantine (of Hellblazer).
Last night I was able to catch “Catwoman” with a friend/client of mine Elle. I thought it was nice to treat her out since she has been very helpful in giving me projects to fill in my portfolio. And most importantly, getting my paychecks. Hehehe.
First off, this Catwoman is not Selina Kyle of the Batman [...]
