Ironwulf.net Ver 6: En Route - Philippines, Travel, Photography

Wow! It’s April already and I have a lot to be thankful for for the month that passed. First of all, I am very grateful for National Geographic Asia for being one of the winners in their National Geographic and Sony Ericsson’s Windows Into Asia Awards 2007. The contest aims to showcase the richness and vibrancy of Asia. I’m very happy about this since I’m a fan of National Geographic and it would be a dream come true if I’ll be able to work with them. And having one of my works being critiqued by Matthieu Paley, NGC Adventure Photographer and Quentin Tang, NGC Creative Director and finding it as one of the top 3 entries from the Philippines is already an achievement for me. Though I would really would love that trip to Mongolia, I’m still thankful since I’ll get a new bag and some goodies from them. You can check out the rest of the winners here from each country. They didn’t get my whole name right though. They forgot my surname! Oh well. Hehe.

Hahaha! I was just planning a new site design in my head when I got the word. Many thanks to the owner of Basang Panaginip for including this blog in his list of The Best Designed Filipino Blogs for 2006. The other blogs are just uber cool! Anyways, as I was saying, I’m planing out a new Blog design for this which I’m hoping to come out by next year. This template is already 2 years old, and I’m usually changing template yearly. I just hope I can come up with something new to get pass this.

Finally jumped on a Project 365 bandwagon. I thought it would be really fun to have something like a photo diary of anything that happened that will remind you of that day. I thought at first that it would be hard to maintain another blog but this would just be more on pictures and less the words. And just for this I made a very simple template. It’s been 3 years, 345 posts and 1428 comments later and here I am still blogging on. Starting on from MovableType to Blogger and eventually being at home here at my own domain using Wordpress. I must admit that this blog has changed from its humble beginnings of trying to voice out what insanely goes in my head to a now documentation type Travel and Photo Blog.
