Yeah, you’re right!
In order to end a pointless discussion or arguments I always say these magic words “Yeah, you’re right!” Some people are just caught up with their beliefs that it’s just pointless to express your opinions. It thought it better to leave them to their opinions and learn from what they believe, for what each other people’s belief is “Right” what ever that is.
There were two persons arguing last night, the guy had been out of work for more than a year now. He blames the government for not producing jobs, he blames the companies for being so discriminating that they only hire four year graduates and not those two years coursed applicants. He says “Look at the statistics” of those who got jobs and got good courses. He watches the News a lot and thinks he knows everything to what is happening in the world. He predicts what may happen to this certain industry and thus not make any action in going into that business. He’s proud that a lot of people still ask for technical advise from him, yet where is he. Still a bum after all these months.
To hell with the statistics I thought. That’s why watching “News” can be a really bad habit, it shapes your thinking somehow that the world is all doom and gloomy and there’s nothing you could do but sulk like a couch potato and be hypnotized by that dreaded boob-tube. I’m not saying the “News” is bad… consider what they feed you but don’t let them influence your thinking. Filter filter filter.
