Sagada: Morning Unwind

Sagada Morning View

First off all, my sincerest thanks to all those who greeted me on my birthday last week. My apologies if I couldn’t reply back earlier. Braving the category four storm, Marce on the night of my birthday, September 11, was a bit of an extemporaneous decision. Somehow I wanted my birthday to be different this time around. So after dinner with my family, I called up my friend Lagal[og] and dragged him on a road trip up north to Sagada.

I somehow find myself in this Northern Highlands whenever I feel the urge to just relax and think out things. It’s my fourth time in this wonderful place and I have always enjoyed going back here. Photography takes a little on the backseat as taking photos wasn’t a priority this time but to just enjoy the place more. In fact we didn’t venture more beyond the town itself but enjoyed the really cool atmosphere, the soothing sight of the mountains and the pine trees, coupled with moments of introspection on what might hold for the coming years.

I thank you once again for coming along with me on my journeys in this humble blog. I won’t pretend that this blog has shared a bit of fame over the years but I will always remember the reasons why I started this blog – to simply share the joys of travel and photography. And hope people would be inspired by it.
