Sabaidee! Khawp jai lai lai for taking time to join me on this journey through Laos. While it may have taken me months to finish the whole Laos Chronicles, the actual trip lasted only 14-days including transit from February 5-18 2009. I would have wanted to wraps thing up quickly but there are so many details to write about the place and I want it written in a way people are traveling with me as well. So here’s the summary of the trip with itinerary details and budget.
San Jose in Occidental Mindoro was one memorable trip and photo assignment for me. To summarize the chronicles, here’s the article I wrote for the June 2009 Issue of Philippine Airline’s Mabuhay Magazine.
Here’s another summary from this year’s major travels, Backpacking Northern Vietnam. My next set of travels would be set by the end of next month and end of the year so I may not be able to write new chronicles by then. Though I may (or may not) be having some photo shoots in between, I’ll be writing some left over materials and also some summaries from the other trips this year. The China Central to South West Chronicles have ended and to cap it all off would be a summary and details of the trip. From now on, after completing a series I would posts a semi IT which includes the route, the number of days and budget for that trip. Hopefully helpful for those who would want to try the route as well. So after more than 2000 miles within China, 5 provinces, 4 UNESCO sites, 11 days and a budget of less than Php 30,000 which includes all airfares from Manila, transfers within China, park fees, food and accommodations, here’s the recap of the trip.
