Why do I think I have big problems when there are other people there who have bigger problems that make mine seem petty. I have a cousin who spent like more than a 100k just for his mom’s operation, then having heard last night that my Tita has the symptoms of her illness again. My cousin called up my mom and he was almost in tears, asking god why are this things happening to him.

A few weeks ago, the family of my other cousin in Bicol had some serious domestic problems. It seems that this other cousin of mine is involved in drugs and he has caused some seriuos damage in the household. Angray with my cousin here in Manila that she’s spending the money they got from my other cousin who recently died. Drug problems are serious and she alerted her police friend to check out her family there. I heard this cousin of mine even punched my Tita twice there.

And not to count the fire that burnt the house of my other cousin which resulted in his death because of agony and grief.

People have much worse problems and seems that my domestic problem petty. Now money is an issue, thank god though, no serious health or any fire damage or drug problems in the family. Then again, they need some money, it made me think hard wether I should lend them the money they needed. It’s hard enough to save and earn them. But i think my dad has realised some of his business mistakes. “Bumbay” lending is no good. 20% interest will kill you. So to prevent him from gaining more debt. I decided to lend them the money they need. Until they get it from a respectable lending company with smaller interest. Sigh. Money is always an issue.
